Summer Heat Wave

Hello!

This summer, for a few days now, it has been extremely HOT! IT seems all anyone wants to do is go swimming or just sit around in an air conditioned home. It feels like a waste of a day when the only thing you do is sit around! So, I've tried to come up with some ideas for things to do inside the house on really hot days! Or, you could go outside and enjoy the sun and heat. :) Whatever makes you happy!

~Things to do on a hot day~

*Play outside with a hose! It feels good having icy cold water on you!
*Play a bored game with family or a friend! My personal favorites are: Outburst, Scrabble, Life, and Monopoly! (What are some of yours?)
*Write a newspaper with stories, drawings, and puzzles, then give it to friends and family to have fun with!
*Go into an area where there's a large empty space (inside your house, or not) and practice a favorite sport! Like kicking the soccer ball around, or playing with a volleyball
* Go on the computer and create a blog for pictures, stories, or stuff about you! Don't give away any personal information that could cause danger though!
* Ask your parents if you can go swimming!
* Clean your room, or do some extra chores for extra $!
* call a friend and hang out, or just chat!
* Play with a pet!
* Make a sculpture out of old, recyclable items!

Hope you like my ideas...I'm sure there are many more creative things (and Fun things!) to do on a Hot day! If you have any more ideas, please comment them!

Haters

I have heard of mean people on blogs and videos called "Haters". Apparently- they go around posting rude and mean comments on videos and blogs and other things they don't like.

News Flash- Somebody out there worked hard on the post or the video Haters are criticizing. Somebody- or some people may really enjoy that video, and people who say rude things brings them down and hurt their feelings.

To my haters? (If I Have any)

You cannot bring me down. If a person posts a mean thing, I will turn that mean comment into a complement. Or ask the person, "why didn't you like my post?" Every mean thing said will be taken in as a good thing, and I will be inspired to work harder on my Blog, because its my dream. I don't want 1 or 2 or even 100 people to try and get in my way of accomplishing my dream. Haters: Thank you for taking the time to "Hate" me. :) It will help me- but I just want to let you know? Mean comments are not OK. They never were and they never will be

Facts About Bernadette

I wasn't sure how to start of this blog, so I thought some facts would be nice. Like, #1, Whats up with the Name of this blog?
Well- Here's the answer!
I really enjoy the rain, so that's where I got the "Rain Lover" part, and the "Lives here" Just seemed like a cool touch. Its a unique name, and I love being unique. Being unique makes you easy to remember, you stick in peoples heads easily. Sometimes that's good, and sometimes its bad. I like to look at it as a good thing. :)

**some main facts about me are in the little about me thing, so that's why I'm not sharing my favorite color or anything here**

1. I don't normally wear nail polish, when I do Its only on my toes
2.I'm more of a wildflower girl than a rose girl- roses don't last long
3. I have a pretty large family
4. My room is purple, but I have a white bed
5. I love fruit
6. I wish it was raining right now
7. My favorite school subject is Language Arts
8. This is not a school assigned blog
9. Because it's summer right now
10. But I have heard that some schools have summer assignments
11. I enjoy being me

13. I have a cat and I take care of my brother's Hampster
